<p><span style="font-size: medium;">1) This site will serve as our blog/hub for the national PublicMediaCamp in October, and for local ones in the future.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium;">2) Visit the <a href="http://wiki.publicmediacamp.org/PubCamp" target="_blank"><span style="background-color: #ccffcc;">PublicMediaCamp Wiki</span></a>, poke around a bit, and make sure you start thinking about the kind of session you&#8217;ll lead. <a href="http://wiki.publicmediacamp.org/PubCampSession" target="_blank"><span style="background-color: #ccffcc;">Edit the wiki</span></a> to add that information &#8211; we&#8217;ll schedule sessions each day of the camp. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium;">3) Connect with other campers in the <span style="background-color: #ccffcc;"><a href="http://groups.google.com/group/public-media-camp" target="_blank">Google Group</a></span> and make sure to follow us on twitter <a href="http://twitter.com/pubmediacamp"><span style="background-color: #ccffcc;">@PubMediaCamp</span></a> for updates. The hastag we&#8217;re using for all media (tweets, posts, photos, videos) is <a href="http://search.twitter.com/search?q=%23pubcamp"><span style="background-color: #ccffcc;">#pubcamp</span></a>.</span></p>

<p>We&#8217;ve created a digital footprint for you to follow in order to get the most out of PublicMediaCamp. Follow these steps and you&#8217;ll be all set:</p>
<p>1) <a href="http://pubcamp.eventbrite.com">Register for PublicMediaCamp</a>! You&#8217;ll need to receive a confirmation email from us in order to attend, as we&#8217;ve got a limited amount of space at the event.</p>
<p>2) Follow <a href="http://www.twitter.com/pubmediacamp" target="_blank">@PubMediacamp</a> on Twitter (we&#8217;ll use this for announcements)</p>
<p>3) Join the <a href="http://groups.google.com/group/public-media-camp" target="_blank">Google Group</a> (talk with fellow PubCampers)</p>
<p>4) Visit the <a href="http://wiki.publicmediacamp.org" target="_blank">event wiki</a> and add to it. This is where we&#8217;ll document all the sessions we&#8217;re hoping to organize. So if you&#8217;d like to organize a session or request one, this is the place where you&#8217;ll ultimately have to do it.</p>
