About: Lauren Schwarze is a Project Manager and Community Associate Producer at KETC/Channel 9. She got her start at Channel 9 as an intern working on “Facing the Mortgage Crisis” and has loved every minute of working at KETC since she began in January 2009. A firm believer in the power of community created content, Lauren directs the efforts of nineAcademy, a series of courses where members of the community can learn how to tell stories using video. A native of California, Lauren relocated to St. Louis in 2005 to attend Washington University in St. Louis, where she received a degree in Marketing and International Business.
